👰🏼🤵🏼

Our rings were made by Frederik’s super-talented sister, Sophie Bille Brahe.

Here is Frederik with his three groomsmen, Silas Adler, Rune Bruun Johansen, and Karl Monies, in front of the Hotel Sanders before they were picked up and taken to the wedding location on the canal.

The final, final makeup touches before heading to the boat.

My bridesmaid Helena Christensen in the makeup and hair chair looking beautiful as always.

Ready to walk down the aisle.

A very end-of-year school picture with all of my bridesmaids, and Skat, of course.

婚礼

We traveled by boat to the ceremony. Our captain, Eddie Klint, did a fantastic job getting us there!

The flower boy, Johan, taking a moment before holding my hand and walking me down the aisle.

At the last minute before the ceremony, my dress came undone, but thankfully, my bridesmaids came to the rescue.

They also helped me off the boat.

Frederik’s dad, Bille;

my granddad’s wife, Lisbeth;

and my grandmother Johnna

watching us getting off the boat.

Ready to say I do.

Johan and I excitedly walking toward Frederik.

Frederik was very emotional when he first saw me, and he couldn’t stop smiling. We were both laughing and crying at the same time!

More smiles. Once the ceremony began, Alexander asked the entire crowd to move in closer to us. Then he asked me if I would place my endless love on Fred and the other way around.

Our wedding shoes. Mine were from Maryam Nassir Zadeh.

The moment we exchanged rings.

And the very happily ever after kiss. Just after this, everyone placed flowers around where we stood—it was magical.

Just married! We looked out at all of our guests and became so excited at the thought of having an amazing evening all together.

Frederik and I took a moment as new husband and wife before getting on the next boat that took us to the dinner party.

We played music and danced on the boat. At one point, we played the Daddy Yankee song “Gasolina” and everyone screamed the lyrics.

Walking to the boat in the rain, trying not to get my beautiful dress wet.

Here we are sailing in the boats on the way to dinner.

We all had such a blast drinking Champagne and listening to music.

Our dear friend Christian, who was also a flower boy for the ceremony.

Frederik taking a moment post-ceremony on the boat.

Frederik walked up and down on the tables while he gave his speech at the dinner party.

Fresh seafood from the chefs who work with Frederik at Apollo Bar and Atelier September.

Our friend Nadja and her boyfriend, Matthias, listening to the speeches. We told our guests to wear festive and happy clothes; there was no strict dress code. People are really relaxed in Copenhagen and quite creative, so people wore everything from super-posh and chic couture dresses to smart street style looks.

The night was fun but also chill. This was our toastmaster, Niko, with our good friend, Kristian Nyholm, and our officiant, Alexander, enjoying each other’s company over food and wine.

Our wedding cake was from La Glace and it was a gift from Frederik’s parents, Elisabeth and Bille.

Philip Lotko and Frederik Lentz Andersen taking a smoke break between food and speeches.

My good friend Sheila laughing and having a great time.

Frederik got carried around the dance floor later on in the evening. All of his closest friends were trying to cut the toes of his socks, which is a Danish wedding tradition—don’t ask me why.

Enjoying the music, all the love, and my friends on the dance floor.
